#240X
Representing Japan on the international stage of SCORE desert racing, this determined competitor has carved out a unique niche in the brutal world of Baja competition. Racing a Suzuki RMZ450Z in the competitive Sportsman Motorcycle division, Hirasawa has demonstrated remarkable perseverance in tackling one of motorsport's most challenging events.
His most notable achievement came at the legendary Baja 1000, where he managed to conquer the grueling 1,000-mile course that claims countless competitors each year. Despite facing the typical hardships that define Baja racing - treacherous terrain, mechanical challenges, and navigation difficulties - he powered through to a hard-earned 20th place finish in the Sportsman Motorcycle class with a time of 46:53:18.
As one of several Japanese racers who make the journey to Baja California each year, Hirasawa represents the growing international appeal of SCORE desert racing. His participation alongside co-riders Kaname Kawasaki and Katsuhiro Yukihisa showcases the team-oriented nature of long-distance desert racing, where reliability and endurance often matter more than outright speed.
His commitment to competing in one of the world's most demanding off-road events reflects the true spirit of desert racing adventure.
