At just 22 years old, Jones helped pilot the #242 TSCO Chevy to a commanding victory in the Trophy Truck Spec class at the prestigious 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500 in 2018, co-driving with veteran Bryce Swaim to claim the top spot in one of desert racing's most celebrated events.

The Litchfield Park native's breakthrough performance at the golden anniversary Baja 500 showcased his ability to navigate the brutal 542-mile course through Baja California's unforgiving terrain. Racing alongside Swaim, Jones demonstrated the mental toughness and technical skill required to overcome treacherous silt beds, navigate complex bottlenecks, and maintain race pace across varying desert conditions that claimed numerous competitors.
