Francisco Ibarra brings deep local knowledge and passion to SCORE desert racing from his home base in Ensenada, BC, the heart and soul of Baja California's off-road racing scene. Racing in the very region where legends are made, Ibarra represents the strong contingent of Mexican racers who have helped make events like the SCORE Baja 500 a truly international spectacle.

Based in the seaside port city that has hosted the SCORE Baja 500 starting line for over four decades, Ibarra understands the unique challenges of Baja's demanding terrain better than most. His intimate familiarity with the region's technical desert courses, from the rocky outcrops near Ojos Negros to the challenging arroyos that wind through Northern Baja, gives him a distinct advantage in navigating the signature SCORE race routes that have tested the world's best desert racers.

As part of Mexico's proud off-road racing heritage, Ibarra continues the tradition of local competitors who have made their mark on the sport that was born in the Baja Peninsula.
