Biography

Rising through the ranks of SCORE International desert racing, this 30-year-old Tijuana native has established himself as a formidable competitor in the world's most demanding off-road events. Drawing from the rich racing heritage of Baja California, Esteban brings a deep understanding of the peninsula's challenging terrain that has defined desert racing for over five decades.

Competing in SCORE's premier events including the legendary Baja 1000 and San Felipe 250, Esteban represents the new generation of Mexican racers carrying forward the tradition that began with the original Mexican 1000 in 1967. His strategic approach to navigation and mechanical preparation reflects the evolution of desert racing from its wild early days to today's highly technical competition.

Based in Tijuana, he benefits from proximity to both the starting points of major SCORE events and the extensive off-road community that has flourished along the US-Mexico border. This geographical advantage, combined with intimate knowledge of Baja's diverse landscapes from beaches to mountains, positions him uniquely among international competitors.

As SCORE International celebrates its 50th anniversary, Esteban embodies the spirit of adventure and determination that has attracted racers from around the world to test themselves against Baja's unforgiving desert challenges.
