Biography

A dedicated competitor in SCORE's demanding Class 10 division, this veteran racer has been tackling Mexico's most challenging desert courses with remarkable consistency. Racing out of Chula Vista alongside co-driver and brother Moises Cuevas, he demonstrated his resilience and skill during the grueling 2018 SCORE Baja 500, where his team piloted their Alumi Craft-Chevy through 542 miles of punishing Baja terrain.

The 2018 Baja 500 showcased his determination as he battled against a competitive field of 24 Class 10 starters, ultimately securing a solid 7th place finish in a race that claimed nearly half the field. Completing the course in just over 15 hours, he proved his ability to maintain pace while navigating the technical challenges that make Class 10 racing so demanding. The sealed-engine, limited class requires exceptional driving precision and mechanical reliability - qualities this racer has consistently demonstrated throughout his SCORE career.

His partnership with Moises has become a cornerstone of his racing program, representing the family-oriented spirit that defines much of SCORE desert racing. With his methodical approach to preparation and unwavering commitment to finishing races, he continues to be a respected competitor among Class 10's most dedicated racers.

Congratulations Cesar Cuevas, Class 10 winner at the 2019 SCORE San Felipe 250!

PATIENCE PERSEVERES FOR CHASE WARREN | May 2022 Issue

Class 10 competition in this race was also extremely tough. This class has some of the toughest and most experienced buggy racers who continue to win races every season. SCORE fans knew the class could be won by any of the top competitors including 2021 Champion Ben Hagle, Bruce Yee, and Chase Warren. The course would also prove to be very challenging for these racers as well, as nearly half of the field of 20 competitors were taken out in one way or another. Read More
