Biography

Fresh off impressive podium performances in 2024, this 46-year-old desert racing veteran has established himself as a formidable force in SCORE's elite UTV competition. His breakthrough season included a hard-fought second place class finish at the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, followed by another podium with second place at the historic SCORE Baja 500, showcasing remarkable consistency across both of Baja's most demanding races.

Competing in the highly competitive PRO UTV FI class behind the wheel of his Can-Am X3, he has proven his ability to navigate the brutal terrain that defines SCORE desert racing. His 16th place finish at the 2024 Baja 500 out of 35 starters demonstrates not only speed but the reliability and endurance required to conquer nearly 19 hours of punishing Baja Peninsula conditions.

Co-driving with Francisco Verdugo Flores, the team has shown they can compete with the sport's elite, running alongside established champions and international stars. Based in Southern California's racing heartland, he represents the dedication and technical expertise that characterizes modern desert racing, where mechanical preparation and driving skill must combine to survive races that push both man and machine to their absolute limits.
