Based in the border city of Mexicali, Jesus De La Torre has established himself as a consistent presence in SCORE International competition, regularly piloting his custom-built machine through some of the world's most demanding off-road courses.

The 46-year-old racer demonstrates remarkable consistency in the competitive 1200 class, where VW-powered vehicles battle against fierce competition from both sides of the border. His most recent campaign saw him teaming with seasoned co-drivers Leonardo Navarrete and Alejandro Navarrete, both fellow Mexicali natives who bring their own extensive desert racing experience to the cockpit. This experienced trio represents the deep racing culture that thrives in the border region, where mechanical expertise and desert navigation skills are passed down through generations of off-road enthusiasts.
