Oregon's desert racing veteran has carved out a consistent presence in SCORE's competitive Class 1/2-1600 division, demonstrating remarkable persistence and skill behind the wheel of his Jimco-powered machine. Partnering with co-driver Mike St. Cyr from his home base in Coos Bay, Jussila has become a familiar sight on starting lines throughout Baja California's most challenging terrain.

The 2018 season showcased his competitive mettle with a strong fourth-place championship finish in Class 1/2-1600, accumulating 158 points through consistent performances across multiple events. His campaign included a fifth-place finish at the San Felipe 250 and a solid fourth-place showing at the Desert Challenge, proving his ability to navigate both high-speed desert sections and technical rock gardens with equal proficiency.

Racing against fierce international competition from Mexico and throughout the American Southwest, Jussila has earned respect for his methodical approach and mechanical reliability.
