A determined desert racer from Arizona's border region, Eric Saltzer has established himself as a consistent competitor in SCORE's premier events. Racing Honda CRF450X machinery in the Sportsman Motorcycle class, Saltzer demonstrated his endurance and skill with an 11th-place finish at the legendary 2018 SCORE Baja 500, completing the grueling 542-mile course in 14 hours, 50 minutes, and 38 seconds.

Based in Somerton, Arizona, Saltzer brings a collaborative approach to desert racing, regularly teaming with fellow Arizona competitors Nick Ford and Greg Fides from nearby Yuma. This regional partnership has proven effective in tackling Baja's unforgiving terrain, where mechanical expertise and strategic pit support often determine success.

The 2018 Baja 500 marked a significant milestone in Saltzer's racing career, finishing among the top dozen competitors in his class at one of off-road racing's most prestigious events. His performance that year showcased the dedication required to not only survive but excel in SCORE's ultimate test of man and machine across Baja California's challenging desert landscape.
