Based on the SCORE Magazine archives, Matt Rusich has established himself as a dedicated Class 10 competitor in SCORE International desert racing. At just 22 years old, Rusich demonstrated his commitment to the sport by assembling a formidable four-man team for the grueling SCORE Baja 500, where he piloted his #1040 ESM-Chevy alongside co-drivers Andrew Rusich, Brett DiManno, and Robbie Foster.

The Riverside, California native showcased impressive endurance and tactical racing skills during his Baja 500 campaign, successfully navigating the challenging 500-mile course to secure an 8th place finish in the highly competitive Class 10 division. His finishing time of 15:06:42 placed him among the top finishers in a field where only 14 of 24 starters completed the demanding race, demonstrating both his preparation and driving ability.
