A legendary figure in SCORE desert racing, this veteran competitor carved his name into Baja 1000 history with an overall Class 1 victory in 1983, establishing himself among the sport's elite during the golden era of off-road racing. His championship-caliber driving skills were further demonstrated with another Class 10 overall win in 1993, co-driving with Ryan Thomas to claim the checkered flag in that competitive single-seat class.

Based in Todos Santos, Baja California, this racer brings decades of experience navigating the brutal terrain of the Baja Peninsula. His impressive career spans multiple decades and vehicle classes, showcasing remarkable adaptability and endurance in one of motorsports' most demanding disciplines. The 1983 Baja 1000 victory stands as a testament to his skill during an era when legends like Walker Evans, Mark McMillin, and Ivan Stewart dominated the sport.

Recently returning to competition, he continues to demonstrate his passion for desert racing while mentoring the next generation of SCORE competitors. His deep knowledge of Baja's challenging courses and weather patterns makes him a formidable competitor who understands that finishing the grueling 1000-mile race requires equal parts speed, strategy, and survival instinct.
