A veteran desert racer from the High Desert region of Southern California, Giovanni Perez has established himself as a formidable competitor in SCORE International's most demanding events. Racing primarily in the Pro Moto 50 class, Perez has claimed multiple victories at both the legendary Baja 500 and Baja 1000, earning his place among the sport's elite endurance racers.

His most notable achievements include three Baja 500 Pro Moto 50 victories in 2014, 2017, and 2018, demonstrating remarkable consistency at the highest level of desert racing. Perez's success stems from his ability to assemble championship-caliber teams, regularly partnering with accomplished co-riders including Earl Roberts, Troy Pearce, and John Griffin aboard powerful Yamaha and Honda machines.

Known for his tactical approach to navigation and mechanical preparation, Perez has proven equally capable at both the technical 500-mile and grueling 1000-mile formats. His 2018 Baja 500 victory was particularly impressive, as he and the 510x team overcame challenging silt conditions churned up by Trophy Trucks to maintain their championship pace.
