Building on decades of experience in SCORE desert racing, this veteran Class 10 competitor has established himself as one of the most consistent performers in the demanding world of Baja Peninsula competition. His crowning achievement came in 2022 when he captured the prestigious SCORE Baja 1000 Class 10 championship, conquering the legendary 1,000-mile test of endurance and skill that defines off-road racing excellence.

The 48-year-old Tecate-based racer demonstrated his elite-level competitiveness by earning a second-place class podium finish at the 2024 SCORE Baja 1000, proving that his championship form remains sharp against the world's toughest desert racing field. His consistent performance at motorsport's most challenging events was further validated with a third-place class finish at the historic 2019 SCORE Baja 500, showcasing his ability to excel across different race formats and conditions.

With a racing career spanning multiple decades and documented participation in SCORE events dating back to 2009, he represents the dedication and perseverance required to compete at the highest levels of desert racing. Some of the toughest and most competitive races during the 55th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 were in the buggy classes. In Class 1 seven competitors who are equally matched not only had to out-race each other, but also had to contend with a brutal course that took out nearly half of the competitors. Buggy Classes Fly Across the Course | October 2020 Issue

After qualifying took place for Class 1 racers, it was evident that some of this division's top racers would do well on the 493-mile course. After taking the first starting position, Broc Dickerson got past the first turn, and once he got off the highway, pulled over with some kind of issue.
