Racing out of Pagosa Springs, the 68-year-old competitor demonstrated his enduring skill at the legendary Baja 1000, where he teamed with his brother Don Whittington and Off-Road Hall of Fame inductee Larry Ragland to secure a podium finish in the highly competitive Pro UTV Normally Aspirated class.

Whittington's partnership with racing legend Larry Ragland, a celebrated Baja champion, underscores his standing within the desert racing community. The team's third-place finish at the 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 showcased their ability to maintain competitive pace across the grueling 1,000-mile course while navigating the fog and challenging conditions that eliminated many top competitors.
