Scott Youngren

Fallbrook, CA - #1043

Biography

A dedicated desert racing competitor with deep roots in Southern California's off-road scene, this Fallbrook-based racer has carved out a respected career in SCORE's demanding Class 10 division. Competing in the sport's most challenging single-seater category for vehicles under 1650cc, he has consistently demonstrated the skill and determination required to tackle Baja's unforgiving terrain.

His racing resume includes participation in the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, where he has faced the Peninsula's most grueling challenges. In the historic 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 in 2017, he piloted car #1043 alongside co-drivers Jacob Andrew, DeeWayne Harris, T.C. Steingrube, and Matt Ferrato in their Custom-Chevy powered Class 10 machine on the demanding 1,134-mile course from Ensenada to La Paz.

Operating out of North County San Diego, he represents the grassroots spirit of desert racing, where mechanical expertise, navigation skills, and sheer endurance separate finishers from the field. His commitment to the sport reflects the passion that drives competitors to return year after year to challenge themselves against Baja's legendary courses and unforgiving conditions.
