A determined competitor from Baja California's racing heartland, this veteran desert racer has carved out a respected career navigating the grueling terrain of SCORE International competition. Based in the agricultural community of Camalu, just south of Ensenada, Miguel Angel Monroy brings authentic local knowledge to the punishing courses that wind through his backyard.

Competing in the highly competitive Class 10 division behind the wheel of a Jimco-built machine, Monroy has demonstrated the persistence and mechanical savvy essential for SCORE desert racing success. His notable Baja 1000 performance, crossing the finish line in 149th position overall and 17th in class with a time of 37:35:04.404, showcases the marathon endurance required to complete one of off-road racing's most demanding challenges.

As a Baja California native, Monroy represents the deep-rooted racing culture that has flourished in Mexico's desert racing community. His participation in SCORE's premier events helps maintain the strong Mexican presence that has been integral to the sport's identity since its inception.
